We are the Adelaide Rover Team (ART), a City East-based student team competing in the Australian Rover Challenge (ARCh) each year in March at the University's Roseworthy EXTERRES Facility.

Please fill out the form if you are interested in joining ART. There are a range of different disciplines which you are able to join, based on your interest and skill sets. These disciplines are split between the following two types of roles:

Technical:  

  • The technical team develops the Rover and associated systems required to enter and compete in ARCh

  • Example system capabilities include system navigation, robotic manipulation, construction, resource sampling, & autonomous navigation and mapping

  • Looking for students interested in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc.), Computer Science, Science, & any adjacent disciplines

Operational: 

  • The operation team works on business related tasks required to manage and operate the team

  • Example operational tasks include finance management, procurement, sponsorship, marketing, event management, social media, website, newsletter, and human resource management

  • Looking for students interested in Business, Economics, Media & any adjacent disciplines
