Acknowledgements
The Adelaide Rover Team would like to recognise and thank the many communities, individuals, and organisations whose support makes our work possible.
Acknowledgement of Country
The Adelaide Rover Team respectfully acknowledges the Kaurna, Boandik, and Barngarla First Nations Peoples and their Elders past and present, who are the First Nations’ Traditional Owners of the lands that are home to Adelaide University’s campuses located in Adelaide, Magill, Mawson Lakes, Waite, Roseworthy, Mount Gambier, and Whyalla.
Our Members
We extend our gratitude to all current and past student members of the Adelaide Rover Team. Each cycle is built on the creativity, innovation, and commitment of students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, who bring their time, energy, and passion to this project. Their work not only advances our rover but also contributes to the future of Australia’s role in space and robotics.
Academic and Staff Support
We acknowledge the academics, lecturers, and technical staff at Adelaide University who provide essential mentorship, advice, and expertise. From guidance on engineering and computer science to support in business, media, and management, their contributions are invaluable in helping us develop a well-rounded and competitive team. We also thank the university’s administrative and support staff who assist with facilities, compliance, and logistics that make our work possible.
Sponsors and Industry Partners
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, industry collaborators, and partner organisations. Your support provides us with vital resources, whether financial assistance, materials, equipment, or access to cutting-edge technologies, and enables us to transform student ambition into tangible outcomes. Beyond resources, your professional insights and mentorship help prepare our team members for careers in the space, robotics, and defence industries.
Alumni and Community
We acknowledge the alumni of the Adelaide Rover Team, whose contributions, knowledge, and experience continue to guide us. We also thank the families, friends, and broader community who support our journey through encouragement, volunteer assistance, and advocacy.
International and National Community
Finally, we acknowledge the broader rover and space research communities, both in Australia and abroad. Competing and collaborating on the international stage is only possible because of the collective pursuit of knowledge and innovation shared across borders.
