Listening to the Machinery of Exploration

The audio of the 2024/2025 Rover - Romulus - is broken down into small segments (grains) and digitally manipulated using granular synthesis. These works have been structured using an algorithm created from data representing Agricultural Terrains on Earth. They represent field recordings of a future Earth and invite us to consider what cultivation might sound like on another planet.
